19. And Allâh has made for you the earth a wide ex...

﴿ لِّتَسۡلُكُواْ مِنۡهَا سُبُلٗا فِجَاجٗا ﴾

20. That you may go about therein in broad roads.

﴿ قَالَ نُوحٞ رَّبِّ إِنَّهُمۡ عَصَوۡنِي وَٱتَّبَعُواْ مَن لَّمۡ يَزِدۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَوَلَدُهُۥٓ إِلَّا... ﴾

21. Nûh (Noah) said: "My Lord! They have disobeyed...

﴿ وَمَكَرُواْ مَكۡرٗا كُبَّارٗا ﴾

22. "And they have plotted a mighty plot.

﴿ وَقَالُواْ لَا تَذَرُنَّ ءَالِهَتَكُمۡ وَلَا تَذَرُنَّ وَدّٗا وَلَا سُوَاعٗا وَلَا يَغُوثَ وَيَعُوقَ... ﴾

23. "And they have said: ‘You shall not leave your...

﴿ وَقَدۡ أَضَلُّواْ كَثِيرٗاۖ وَلَا تَزِدِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا ضَلَٰلٗا ﴾
