﴿ وَأُمِّهِۦ وَأَبِيهِ ﴾

35. And from his mother and his father,

﴿ وَصَٰحِبَتِهِۦ وَبَنِيهِ ﴾

36. And from his wife and his children.

﴿ لِكُلِّ ٱمۡرِيٕٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ شَأۡنٞ يُغۡنِيهِ ﴾

37. Everyman that Day will have enough to make him...

﴿ وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ مُّسۡفِرَةٞ ﴾

38. Some faces that Day will be bright (true belie...

﴿ ضَاحِكَةٞ مُّسۡتَبۡشِرَةٞ ﴾

39. Laughing, rejoicing at good news (of Paradise)...

﴿ وَوُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٍ عَلَيۡهَا غَبَرَةٞ ﴾

40. And other faces, that Day, will be dust-staine...

﴿ تَرۡهَقُهَا قَتَرَةٌ ﴾

41. Darkness will cover them.

﴿ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡكَفَرَةُ ٱلۡفَجَرَةُ ﴾

42. Such will be the Kafarah (disbelievers in Allâ...

﴿ إِذَا ٱلشَّمۡسُ كُوِّرَتۡ ﴾

1. When the sun is wound round and its light is lo...

﴿ وَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ ٱنكَدَرَتۡ ﴾

2. And when the stars fall.

﴿ وَإِذَا ٱلۡجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتۡ ﴾

3. And when the mountains are made to pass away;

﴿ وَإِذَا ٱلۡعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتۡ ﴾

4. And when the pregnant she-camels are neglected;
