Selected Quranic verses

﴿ قَالُواْ يَٰوَيۡلَنَا مَنۢ بَعَثَنَا مِن مَّرۡقَدِنَاۜۗ هَٰذَا مَا وَعَدَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ وَصَدَقَ ٱلۡم... ﴾

They will say, “Woe to us! Who has resurrected us...

﴿ إِن كَانَتۡ إِلَّا صَيۡحَةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ فَإِذَا هُمۡ جَمِيعٞ لَّدَيۡنَا مُحۡضَرُونَ ﴾

It will only be a single Blast, and at once they w...

﴿ فَٱلۡيَوۡمَ لَا تُظۡلَمُ نَفۡسٞ شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا تُجۡزَوۡنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ ﴾

On that Day no soul will be wronged in the least,...

﴿ إِنَّ أَصۡحَٰبَ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ فِي شُغُلٖ فَٰكِهُونَ ﴾

Indeed, on that Day the people of Paradise will be...

﴿ هُمۡ وَأَزۡوَٰجُهُمۡ فِي ظِلَٰلٍ عَلَى ٱلۡأَرَآئِكِ مُتَّكِـُٔونَ ﴾

they and their spouses will be reclining on couche...

﴿ لَهُمۡ فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةٞ وَلَهُم مَّا يَدَّعُونَ ﴾

They will have therein fruits and all what they as...

﴿ سَلَٰمٞ قَوۡلٗا مِّن رَّبّٖ رَّحِيمٖ ﴾

“Peace”: a word from a Most Merciful Lord.

﴿ وَٱمۡتَٰزُواْ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ أَيُّهَا ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ ﴾

“Stand apart [from the believers] this Day, O wick...

﴿ ۞ أَلَمۡ أَعۡهَدۡ إِلَيۡكُمۡ يَٰبَنِيٓ ءَادَمَ أَن لَّا تَعۡبُدُواْ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنَۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمۡ عَ... ﴾

Did I not command you, O children of Adam, not to...

﴿ وَأَنِ ٱعۡبُدُونِيۚ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٞ مُّسۡتَقِيمٞ ﴾

but to worship Me? This is a straight path.

﴿ وَلَقَدۡ أَضَلَّ مِنكُمۡ جِبِلّٗا كَثِيرًاۖ أَفَلَمۡ تَكُونُواْ تَعۡقِلُونَ ﴾

He had already misled great multitudes of you. Did...

﴿ هَٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِي كُنتُمۡ تُوعَدُونَ ﴾

This is the Hell that you were promised.
