Selected Quranic verses

﴿ وَلَقَدۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَآ أَشۡيَاعَكُمۡ فَهَلۡ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖ ﴾

We have destroyed many like you [O Makkans][21]; i...

﴿ وَكُلُّ شَيۡءٖ فَعَلُوهُ فِي ٱلزُّبُرِ ﴾

Everything they did is in the written records,

﴿ وَكُلُّ صَغِيرٖ وَكَبِيرٖ مُّسۡتَطَرٌ ﴾

and everything, small or big, is written down.

﴿ إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّٰتٖ وَنَهَرٖ ﴾

Indeed, the righteous will be in gardens and river...

﴿ فِي مَقۡعَدِ صِدۡقٍ عِندَ مَلِيكٖ مُّقۡتَدِرِۭ ﴾

seated in honor in the presence of the Most Powerf...

﴿ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ ﴾

The Most Compassionate,

﴿ عَلَّمَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ ﴾

has taught the Qur’an,

﴿ خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ ﴾

He created man,

﴿ عَلَّمَهُ ٱلۡبَيَانَ ﴾

and taught him speech.

﴿ ٱلشَّمۡسُ وَٱلۡقَمَرُ بِحُسۡبَانٖ ﴾

The sun and the moon follow their precise courses,

﴿ وَٱلنَّجۡمُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ يَسۡجُدَانِ ﴾

and the stars[1] and trees prostrate [to Allah][2]...

﴿ وَٱلسَّمَآءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ ٱلۡمِيزَانَ ﴾

He raised the heaven and enjoined justice
