Selected Quranic verses

﴿ ۞ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُمۡسِكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ أَن تَزُولَاۚ وَلَئِن زَالَتَآ إِنۡ أَمۡسَكَهُمَ... ﴾

Indeed, Allāh holds the heavens and the earth, les...

﴿ وَأَقۡسَمُواْ بِٱللَّهِ جَهۡدَ أَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡ لَئِن جَآءَهُمۡ نَذِيرٞ لَّيَكُونُنَّ أَهۡدَىٰ مِنۡ إِ... ﴾

And they swore by Allāh their strongest oaths that...

﴿ ٱسۡتِكۡبَارٗا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَكۡرَ ٱلسَّيِّيِٕۚ وَلَا يَحِيقُ ٱلۡمَكۡرُ ٱلسَّيِّئُ إِلَّا بِأَهۡلِ... ﴾

[Due to] arrogance in the land and plotting of evi...

﴿ أَوَلَمۡ يَسِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ وَكَا... ﴾

Have they not traveled through the land and observ...

﴿ وَلَوۡ يُؤَاخِذُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلنَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُواْ مَا تَرَكَ عَلَىٰ ظَهۡرِهَا مِن دَآبَّةٖ وَلَٰكِن... ﴾

And if Allāh were to impose blame on the people fo...

﴿ يسٓ ﴾

Yā, Seen.[1260]

﴿ وَٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ ٱلۡحَكِيمِ ﴾

By the wise[1261] Qur’ān,

﴿ إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ ﴾

Indeed you, [O Muḥammad], are from among the messe...

﴿ عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٖ مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ ﴾

On a straight path.

﴿ تَنزِيلَ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ﴾

[This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, th...

﴿ لِتُنذِرَ قَوۡمٗا مَّآ أُنذِرَ ءَابَآؤُهُمۡ فَهُمۡ غَٰفِلُونَ ﴾

That you may warn a people whose forefathers were...

﴿ لَقَدۡ حَقَّ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ عَلَىٰٓ أَكۡثَرِهِمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ ﴾

Already the word [i.e., decree] has come into effe...
