﴿ أَصۡطَفَى ٱلۡبَنَاتِ عَلَى ٱلۡبَنِينَ ﴾
As-Sāffāt
Has He chosen daughters over sons?
﴿ مَا لَكُمۡ كَيۡفَ تَحۡكُمُونَ ﴾
As-Sāffāt
What is [wrong] with you? How do you make judgemen...
﴿ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ ﴾
As-Sāffāt
Then will you not be reminded?
﴿ أَمۡ لَكُمۡ سُلۡطَٰنٞ مُّبِينٞ ﴾
As-Sāffāt
Or do you have a clear authority?[1308]
﴿ فَأۡتُواْ بِكِتَٰبِكُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ ﴾
As-Sāffāt
Then produce your scripture, if you should be trut...
﴿ وَجَعَلُواْ بَيۡنَهُۥ وَبَيۡنَ ٱلۡجِنَّةِ نَسَبٗاۚ وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمَتِ ٱلۡجِنَّةُ إِنَّهُمۡ لَمُحۡضَرُ... ﴾
As-Sāffāt
And they have made [i.e., claimed] between Him and...
﴿ سُبۡحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ ﴾

Exalted is Allāh above what they describe,
﴿ إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ ﴾
