Selected Quranic verses

﴿ قُتِلَ ٱلۡخَرَّٰصُونَ ﴾

Destroyed are the misinformers[1537]

﴿ ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ فِي غَمۡرَةٖ سَاهُونَ ﴾

Who are within a flood [of confusion] and heedless...

﴿ يَسۡـَٔلُونَ أَيَّانَ يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِ ﴾

They ask, "When is the Day of Recompense?"

﴿ يَوۡمَ هُمۡ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ يُفۡتَنُونَ ﴾

﴿ ذُوقُواْ فِتۡنَتَكُمۡ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ ﴾

﴿ إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّٰتٖ وَعُيُونٍ ﴾

﴿ ءَاخِذِينَ مَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡۚ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ قَبۡلَ ذَٰلِكَ مُحۡسِنِينَ ﴾

Accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed,...

﴿ كَانُواْ قَلِيلٗا مِّنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ مَا يَهۡجَعُونَ ﴾

They used to sleep but little of the night,[1538]

﴿ وَبِٱلۡأَسۡحَارِ هُمۡ يَسۡتَغۡفِرُونَ ﴾

And in the hours before dawn they would ask forgiv...

﴿ وَفِيٓ أَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ حَقّٞ لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَٱلۡمَحۡرُومِ ﴾

And from their properties was [given] the right of...

﴿ وَفِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ءَايَٰتٞ لِّلۡمُوقِنِينَ ﴾

﴿ وَفِيٓ أَنفُسِكُمۡۚ أَفَلَا تُبۡصِرُونَ ﴾

And in yourselves. Then will you not see?
