Selected Quranic verses

﴿ فِيهَا كُتُبٞ قَيِّمَةٞ ﴾

containing upright commandments.

﴿ وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جَآءَتۡهُمُ ٱلۡبَيِّنَةُ ﴾

Yet those who were given the Scripture did not dis...

﴿ وَمَآ أُمِرُوٓاْ إِلَّا لِيَعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مُخۡلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ حُنَفَآءَ وَيُقِيمُواْ ٱلص... ﴾

although they were commanded only to worship Allah...

﴿ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ وَٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِي... ﴾

Those who disbelieve from the People of the Book a...

﴿ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمۡ خَيۡرُ ٱلۡبَرِيَّةِ ﴾

As for those who believe and do righteous deeds –...

﴿ جَزَآؤُهُمۡ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡ جَنَّٰتُ عَدۡنٖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أ... ﴾

Their reward with their Lord is Gardens of Eternit...

﴿ إِذَا زُلۡزِلَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ زِلۡزَالَهَا ﴾

When the earth is shaken with a mighty quake,

﴿ وَأَخۡرَجَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ أَثۡقَالَهَا ﴾

and the earth throws out its burdens[1],

﴿ وَقَالَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَا لَهَا ﴾

and man says[2], “What is the matter with it?”

﴿ يَوۡمَئِذٖ تُحَدِّثُ أَخۡبَارَهَا ﴾

On that Day it will recount all its news,

﴿ بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوۡحَىٰ لَهَا ﴾

because your Lord has inspired it [to do so].

﴿ يَوۡمَئِذٖ يَصۡدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشۡتَاتٗا لِّيُرَوۡاْ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ ﴾
