Selected Quranic verses

﴿ لَا يَصۡلَىٰهَآ إِلَّا ٱلۡأَشۡقَى ﴾

none will enter it except the most wretched,

﴿ ٱلَّذِي كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ ﴾

who denied and turned away.

﴿ وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا ٱلۡأَتۡقَى ﴾

But the most righteous will be saved from it,

﴿ ٱلَّذِي يُؤۡتِي مَالَهُۥ يَتَزَكَّىٰ ﴾

who spends his wealth to purify himself,

﴿ وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِندَهُۥ مِن نِّعۡمَةٖ تُجۡزَىٰٓ ﴾

not in return for someone’s favors[2],

﴿ إِلَّا ٱبۡتِغَآءَ وَجۡهِ رَبِّهِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ ﴾

but to seek the pleasure of his Lord, the Most Hig...

﴿ وَلَسَوۡفَ يَرۡضَىٰ ﴾

He will surely be well pleased.

﴿ وَٱلضُّحَىٰ ﴾

By the morning sunlight,

﴿ وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ ﴾

and by the night when it covers with darkness[1],

﴿ مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ ﴾

your Lord has neither forsaken you [O Prophet] nor...

﴿ وَلَلۡأٓخِرَةُ خَيۡرٞ لَّكَ مِنَ ٱلۡأُولَىٰ ﴾

the Hereafter is better for you than the present l...

﴿ وَلَسَوۡفَ يُعۡطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرۡضَىٰٓ ﴾

and your Lord will certainly give you so much that...
